The organisers of the multi-award winning Festival of the Fires have added a host of new additions to the line-up for the two-day ‘Gathering at Uisneach’ to take place at the Uisneach Inn on the May bank holiday weekend.

The inaugural Galway Sea Festival, which hopes to bring in a higher number of tourists during the June bank holiday weekend by holding up to 50 events promoting the city’s maritime history, culture, and environment, has been awarded funding of €25,500 by Galway City Council.

The An Post Cycle Series, supported by An Post and the Irish Sports Council, encourages communities throughout Ireland and further afield to get on their bikes.
